1.   CALL TO ORDER AND DETERMINATION OF QUORUM

2.   PUBLIC COMMENT

1. The public is invited to speak for up to three minutes on any subject of which the City of Weston has authority. However, no discussion or action, by law, may be taken on the topic unless the item is on the agenda or until properly posted on a future agenda, other than to make statements of specific factual information in response to a citizen's inquiry or to recite existing policy in response to the inquiry.

3.  INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION ITEMS

1. Consider and discuss an application, plans, insurance submitted by the “Women of Weston” related to the “Miracle on Chicken Street” event.

2. Consider and act on the approval of a submission by the City of Weston of an application to TXDOT requesting the closure of F.M. 543 between F.M. 455 and Cowan Rd. for the “Miracle on Chicken Street” event to be held on December 9, 2023 and to provide two Collin County Sheriff’s Deputies for traffic control and security for this event.

3. Consider and act upon the approval of the closure Chicken Street, North Street, and West Street in the Weston downtown area for the “Miracle on Chicken Street” event to be held on December 9, 2023.

4. Consider and act upon the approval of the “Women of Weston” to operate a Hayride along a designated route on F.M. 543, Chicken, North and West Streets during the “Miracle on Chicken Street” event to be held on December 9, 2023.

City Council meetings bring together citizens of many varied interests and ideas. To insure fairness and orderly meetings, the City Council asks that all cellular phones or audible beepers be silenced while City Council is in session.  All persons should refrain from private conversation, eating, drinking and smoking while in the Council Chamber.  Citizens and other visitors attending City Council meetings shall observe the same rules of propriety, decorum and good conduct applicable to members of the City Council.  No one shall delay or interrupt the proceedings, or refuse to obey the orders of the presiding officer.
