2. PUBLIC COMMENT

a. The public is invited to speak for up to three minutes on any subject of which the Town of Weston has authority. However, no discussion or action, by law, may be taken on the topic unless the item is on the agenda or until properly posted on a future agenda, other than to make statements of specific factual information in response to a citizen's inquiry or to recite existing policy in response to the inquiry.

a. Public Hearing
ABS A0965 Willim Warden Survey, Tract 26, 15.359-acres A request of McCollum Estates LC [Owner] for annexation of a portion of a 15.359-acre tract of land located in the Town of Weston's Extra Territorial Jurisdiction adjacent to an approximately three [3]-acre tract of land located within the Town Corporate limits and located generally at 6558 West F.M. 455, Weston, Collin County, Texas.
b. Public Hearing
ABS A0965 William Warden Survey, Tract 26, 15.359-acres A request of McCollum Estate LC [Owner] to rezone a 15.359-acre tract to a RED 1 Residential Estate District 1 requiring a minimum lot size of one acre. This property is located at 6558 West F.M. 455, Weston, Collin County, Texas McCollum Estates Holding LC, 15.359 Acres. 
c. Consider and Act on an ordinance concerning the Annexation of Approximately 15.359-acres located at ABS A0965 William Warden Survey, Tract 26 in the Town of Weston's Extra Territorial Jurisdiction on petition of Landowner; Providing that the Owners and Inhabitants of the Subject Area of Land shall be entitled to the Rights and Privileges of Other Citizens of the Town of Weston and Shall be Bound by the Acts and Ordinances now in Effect and hereinafter adopted; Authorizing Execution of the Annexation Service Plan Agreement; Providing a Penalty for a Violation of this Ordinance and Weston Zoning Ordinance; Providing a Savings/Repealing Clause, Severability Clause, and an Effective Date; and Providing for the Publication of the Caption hereof. d. Consider and Act on an ordinance concerning the Zoning Change Request to change ABS A0965 William Warden Survey, Tract 26, 15.359-acres to a RED 1 Residential Estate District 1 requiring a minimum lot size of one acre. This property is located at 6558 West F.M. 455, Weston, Collin County, Texas McCollum Estates Holding LC, 15.359-acres. (O-2025-01-02).
e. Consider and Act on updating the Town's Fee Ordinance 2024-11-12. (Mayor/Scott)
f. Consider and Act on a Resolution for an Interlocal Agreement with Weston Fire and Collin County Dispatch Services. (R-2025-01-01). (Mayor)

5. DISCUSSION

a. Discussion of desired future Development Design Standards and Development Features and Characteristics including current proposed development projects from Lennar Homes and Matrix Equities. (Mayor)


6.  ADJOURN

If during the course of the meeting covered by this notice, the Town Council should determine that a closed or executive meeting or session of the Town Council or a consultation with the attorney for the Town should be held or is required, then such closed or executive meeting or session or consultation with attorney is authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Cote 551.001 et seq., will be held by the Town Council at the date, hour and place given in this notice or as soon after the commencement of the meeting covered by this notice as the Town Council may conveniently meet in such closed or executive meeting or session or consult with the attorney for the Town concerning any and all subjects and for any and all purposes permitted by the Act, including but not limited to, the following sanctions and purposes:

551.072 Discussing purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property

551.074 Discussing personnel or to hear complaints against personnel

RULES OF COURTESY

Town Council meetings bring together citizens of many varied interests and ideas. To insure fairness and orderly meetings, the TownCouncil asks that all cellular phones or audible beepers be silenced while Town Council is in session.  All persons should refrain from private conversation, eating, drinking and smoking while in the Council Chamber.  Citizens and other visitors attending Town Council meetings shall observe the same rules of propriety, decorum and good conduct applicable to members of the Town Council.  No one shall delay or interrupt the proceedings, or refuse to obey the orders of the presiding officer.
