SPECIAL CALLED MEETING

1. CALL TO ORDER AND DETERMINATION OF QUORUM

2. PUBLIC COMMENT

1. The public is invited to speak for up to three minutes on any subject of which the Town of Weston has authority. However, no discussion or action, by law, may be taken on the topic unless the item is on the agenda or until properly posted on a future agenda, other than to make statements of specific factual information in response to a citizen's inquiry or to recite existing policy in response to the inquiry.

3. EXECUTIVE SESSION

Pursuant to Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, the Town Council reserves the right to convene into Executive Session (s) from time to time as deemed necessary during this meeting. The Town Council may convene into Executive Session pursuant to any lawful exception contained in Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code including any or all of the following topics.

1. Personnel Matters§551.074: Personnel matters (to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee; or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee). To hear a grievance filed against a public officer/official.

4. RECONVENE INTO REGULAR SESSION

    Take any action necessary as a result of the Closed Session.

1. Discussion and Action on Executive Session in accordance with Texas Open Meetings Act 551.074, Personnel Matters: Closed Meeting. To deliberate and take appropriate action regarding a complaint/grievance filed against a public officer/official – Mayor.
   
   
2. Discussion and Action on Executive Session in accordance with Texas Open Meetings Act 551.074, Personnel Matters: Closed Meeting. To deliberate and take appropriate action regarding the findings of an investigation of a public officer – Fire Chief.

RULES OF COURTESY

City Council meetings bring together citizens of many varied interests and ideas. To insure fairness and orderly meetings, the City Council asks that all cellular phones or audible beepers be silenced while City Council is in session.  All persons should refrain from private conversation, eating, drinking and smoking while in the Council Chamber.  Citizens and other visitors attending City Council meetings shall observe the same rules of propriety, decorum and good conduct applicable to members of the City Council.  No one shall delay or interrupt the proceedings, or refuse to obey the orders of the presiding officer.
