The Town of Weston is a Type A General Law Municipality, whose governing body is a Town Council made up of the Mayor and five At-Large Aldermen who serve two year terms of office.
The Council meets the second & fourth Tuesday of each month at Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. All meetings are open to the public with the exception of Executive Sessions as prescribed by the Texas Local Government Code.
The Council follows a printed agenda set by the Mayor. Anyone who wishes an item be placed on the agenda should submit a Request to Address City Council to Town Hall.
So that the Mayor and Town Council may hear public opinion, each regularly scheduled meeting includes a Citizen Input segment at the beginning of each agenda. Members of the Council may hear comments and requests, or receive information at this time, but cannot, by law, discuss the citizen input at that meeting. Submit a Request to Address Town Council
